TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense (MND) has banned the use of generative AI platforms, including DeepSeek, ChatGPT, and Gemini, due to security concerns. The MND recently issued an order prohibiting military personnel from uploading potentially sensitive information to generative AI services to ensure confidentiality and data security, per Liberty Times.
