OpenAI has now revealed its ambitions to enter the voice-assistant space and started privately testing its powerful ‘Voice Engine’ late last year.
Experts fear advanced voice-cloning tech could be used to disrupt the democratic process. OpenAI has already demonstrated that its technology can rapidly generate text, images and more recently videos.
