AI and changes in how we shop could force nearly 12 million US workers to change jobs in less than a decade, a McKinsey study found.
That’s according to a new McKinsey Global Institute study that examined how the rise of AI and other factors like an aging population and e-commerce could impact US employment in the years ahead. The study found that Americans in lower-wage jobs are up to 14 times more likely to need to change occupations by 2030.
